Why ArxGate
The standard approach to identity and data verification — collect documents, store them, hope you don't get breached — creates more liability than it resolves. ArxGate was built on a different premise: verify the fact, not the document.
Core principles
Six ideas ArxGate is built on
Zero raw data stored on your side
When a bank verifies income via ArxGate, no bank statement lands in the bank's database. When a landlord screens a renter, no SSN is stored in their property management software. The result — pass or fail — is the only thing that travels to the verifier.
Cryptographic proof, not procedural trust
Traditional verification relies on someone calling someone else, or a document being faxed somewhere. ArxGate replaces that with a P-256 ECDSA digital signature. It either validates or it doesn't. It cannot be forged, backdated, or falsified.
The user controls every disclosure
Sensitive data lives in a hardware-encrypted vault on the user's device — protected by Apple Secure Enclave or Android StrongBox. No share happens without explicit biometric consent. The user sees exactly what will be confirmed, to whom, and why.
Compliance generated automatically
Every verification event automatically produces a 36-field AuditRow covering eIDAS, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, CCPA, and FTC requirements. 7-year retention by default. No manual compliance documentation work.
If you're breached, there's nothing to steal
A traditional lender's database holds thousands of SSNs, bank numbers, and income documents — a breach target that grows with every application. ArxGate's database holds only attestation tokens: cryptographic records that a verification occurred. Not the data that made verification possible.
API or no-code — your call
Organizations with developers integrate via the ArxGateFE API and SDK. Teams without developers use the no-code Web Portal. Both deliver the same cryptographic proof, the same audit trail, and the same zero-custody guarantee.
